Had full circle moment last night at the red carpet premiere of “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies”. In High School I was cast as Sandy in our school’s ‘Grease’ musical, and it forever changed my life.
That play was where I first fell in love with acting, singing, and performing. It was also the first time I truly felt like I could be myself, surrounded by other theater kids.
It’s not lost on me that now years later I’m living in Los Angeles attending the premiere for a series based on a play that helped shaped me into who I am today. Grease is what gave me the confidence to finally audition audition for a play, which was the first step on my journey to where I am now.
Loved watching the first episode of the season and hope it resonates with you as much as it did with me.
